Platak is not just a place for sport and recreation – for years it has also been a place of gatherings, socializing, and creating memories for students. Over ten years of the All Faces of Platak project, many students have discovered its trails, peaks, challenges, and the beauty of nature. From sports activities to new friendships and unforgettable moments outside the lecture halls, Platak has become part of the student story of the University of Rijeka.
This year, too, the organizers invite all students to join the jubilee 10th edition of the project, spend an active day in nature, meet new people, and experience Platak in a completely different way. The programme takes place across two dates – on 22 August, sports tournaments are on the schedule, including five-a-side football, beach volleyball, pétanque, disc golf, and 3v3 basketball, while on 30 August, trail races of 8, 15, and 22 kilometres will be organised, along with an MTB marathon, also open to e-bike riders.
