After students of the University of Rijeka embraced outdoor activity through spring events in the Kastav Forest and along the Rje\u010dina River, a summer edition of the popular recreational initiative is on the way \u2013 this time by the sea, with sun and waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 7, 2025, Kostrena will become a hub of sports and fun, offering students the chance to take part in one or more exciting activities. The program includes stand-up paddling (SUP), kayaking, and a 3-on-3 water polo tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kayaking and SUP will be organized into three guided sessions, each lasting an hour and a half, with a maximum of ten participants per activity per session. No prior experience is required \u2013 everyone is welcome. Certified instructors will be available to support beginners and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those with a competitive spirit, a water polo tournament will also take place, with prizes awaiting the top teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participation in all activities is free of charge for students. The event will be further enhanced by a partnership with Metropolis Beach Bar, which will provide music, refreshments, and a relaxed, positive atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
