From Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2025, Pore\u010d was the epicenter of student sports in Croatia, hosting the finals of the national university sports championships \u2013 UniSport HR Finals 2025<\/em>. This major event brought together over a thousand student-athletes from across the country, with 170 teams representing 23 higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Competitions were held in twelve different sports, and the spirit of sportsmanship spread throughout Pore\u010d and its surroundings, where all matches and events took place. Beyond the competitive aspect, UniSport HR Finals<\/em> transcends a traditional sporting event \u2013 offering students opportunities for personal development, promoting healthy lifestyle habits, knowledge exchange, and the acquisition of valuable organizational and teamwork skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The University of Rijeka stood out as one of the more successful participants. Its students competed in 3\u00d73 basketball, handball, volleyball, beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, and chess.
