Studentska Fiumanka has been held since 2022 with the aim of connecting students and staff through a combination of recreation and sporting competition. The regatta is primarily designed as an accessible and relaxed experience that introduces participants to sailing as a way of actively spending time at sea, but also as a lifestyle. No prior knowledge or experience is required to participate, making it open to everyone interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2025, 18 teams took part, with a total of more than 300 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the traditional Fiumanka regatta, the Student Fiumanka will once again take place this year, an event that brings together an increasing number of students eager for sailing, competition, and unforgettable socializing at sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Student Fiumanka 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The fifth edition of the regatta will be held on June 11 and 12, 2026, once again turning the Rijeka waters into a stage of youth, energy, and sporting spirit. Applications from numerous university faculty teams are expected, and this year’s novelty is that teams will register exclusively through the sports associations of their respective faculties (https:\/\/sport.uniri.hr\/o-nama\/rijecki-akademski-sportski-savez\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The University of Rijeka organizes the event with the aim of bringing sailing closer to students and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. In addition to the sporting aspect, emphasis is also placed on the social component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Additional motivation for this year’s participants comes from last year’s results, where representatives of the Faculty of Dental Medicine took first place, the Faculty of Physics came in second, and third place went to the Faculty of Civil Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With favorable weather conditions and a rich program, this year’s edition is expected to further strengthen the status of the Student Fiumanka as one of the most exciting events within the Fiumanka, as well as an essential gathering of the student community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Studentska Fiumanka has been held since 2022 with the aim of connecting students and staff through a combination of recreation and sporting competition.
